How do you stay motivated when all the pages you follow on Instagram, twitter, blogger, social media are the After photo?

How do you stay motivated when you want to be the biggest, baddest, fittest person and you keep being stood up by "workout partners"?

You make a list. (Really works)

  • things you want to accomplish by becoming fit
  • Why are you getting fit
  • Reasons you think getting healthy is too hard
  • all the reasons getting healthy and fit are easy (debunk that list)

Do not get discouraged. Repeat after me, "Everyone Stumbles." The way you succeed is getting up and moving forward.

Getting healthy is a journey not a destination. There will be days where you eat McDonalds or that place that only serves comfort food, it's okay. You are still getting fit and everything in moderation is okay. 

Don't get bogged down in the details of everyday. It takes TIME and EFFORT to get fit. 

If you need extra motivation make a chart of where you want to be in a year. Make a huge goal and several mini goals. Set up a prize system. My prizes include: hair cuts, workout gear, shoes, CD's, spa days. Make your prizes worth it for you. Every time you reach a mini goal you win a prize. Once you keep getting prizes, there should be some fire to continue on in your journey.

Don't ever forget I am here to help you and encourage you as well because I believe firmly that #strongwomenlifteachotherup and in order to stay fit you have to help others.
